Bold Goals

At United Way of Cass-Clay, we focus on lifting families out of poverty. We have the unique role of seeing a community-wide view of all the issues and work to understand, solve, and invest to create long-term, sustainable change. By bringing together community partners, leaders, and data we know we can change the lives of our neighbors in need for generations to come.

Our Bold Goals are the most challenging and chronic sources of poverty in our community. When we work to prevent hunger and homelessness, prepare children to succeed, and strengthen families we have the opportunity to create a better community for all of us.

We believe that all families deserve a safe place to live and food on their plates. We know that when a family has a strong foundation, parents go to work with the determination to succeed, kids go to school with the confidence to learn and grow, and our community thrives. When we come together, we can create the change our community needs.
