Getting and staying out of poverty is not easy. Not having access to, or the skills to maintain things such as housing, a job, education, stable mental health, food, transportation, basic needs, childcare, a bank account, credit, language, etc., can collectively keep a family from rising above poverty and finding a better life for themselves. These are the areas we focus on when we work to strengthen families.

Mental health has affected all of us in some way. For those needing health, find the right support can be a challenge – even for those in the best of circumstances. For those in poverty already struggling, it’s often impossible.
We saw the gap. That’s why we’ve made mental health a priority. We brought together local experts, carefully examined the data, and are investing in programs to help our neighbors in poverty get equal access to the care they need. Because of person deserves to find a maintain good mental health.
