Home Spotlights Announcing United Way of Cass-Clay’s 2027 35 Under 35 Women’s Leadership Program participants

There’s a new class of women ready to grow, connect and lead across the Cass-Clay community! The Volunteer Selection Committee has named this year’s group of 35 women to participate in the United Way of Cass-Clay 35 Under 35 Women’s Leadership Program.
The program is a transformative experience that brings together women from different industries, backgrounds and experiences to grow as leaders, build meaningful connections and discover how their strengths and influence can create positive change within their workplaces, families and community.
From January through June, participants will take part in six full-day sessions led by local leaders and community voices. They’ll explore topics like communication, goal setting, personal growth, board leadership, public speaking and conflict management while building skills and confidence they can carry into their everyday lives.
Participants will also connect with a community of women leaders and gain a deeper understanding of the needs and challenges around them. They’ll leave with new perspectives, relationships and resources to support their continued growth and new ways to use their leadership to create positive change.
Since the program launched in 2009, nearly 600 local women have taken part in this leadership development experience. Now in its 18th year, 35 Under 35 continues to invest in women and the leadership they bring to the world around them.
We’re excited to welcome this year’s class, representing a wide range of industries, experiences and perspectives!
Congratulations to the 2027 class! We’re looking forward to seeing what these women learn from one another and how they carry their experiences into the community.
