Children flourish when they have nurturing relationships, enriching learning opportunities, and places where they feel safe and supported. Yet families experiencing poverty often face barriers to accessing the early childhood education, mentoring, creative programs, and wraparound supports that help strengthen both children and their caregivers. When these resources are out of reach, children may miss the consistent guidance, stability, and opportunities they need for lifelong success.
United Way of Cass-Clay is closing that gap by investing in the programs that are proven to help children thrive.
Guided by strategic connections and strategic investments, we work to understand our community’s challenges, elevate the voices of those in need, and support programs that are best positioned to create lasting change for children and families. By funding programs that meet children where they are at home, at school, and in the community, we increase access to services that strengthen social, emotional, and academic outcomes. When the right supports surround students, they graduate choice ready and prepared to continue their education or enter the workforce.
With guidance from our Community Impact Committee and the dedication of more than 50 Community Impact Review Panel volunteers, we reviewed programs across our community and identified the partners best positioned to create meaningful and lasting change. These organizations, our Verified Impact Partners, are delivering supports that help children and families move toward stability and success.
